Fix the “WordPress Not Sending Emails” problem

WordPress has stopped sending emails from my website. I think what I’ll do to fix this is log into the dashboard and click on my email address. Find and click on the “Mail” option. Check the “Enable Mail” option and then click the “Save Changes” button.

Now I’ll go back to my website and refresh the page so that my changes to the settings will take effect.

I was able to determine that this was not enough so I installed a plugin which allows me to send emails using my own smtp server.

I had my website send a test email to my gmail account. I was able to send an email from my website and it worked.

I guess WordPress was not sending emails because I had not checked the “Enable Mail” option.
